The Problem
As a high-profile international T20 cricket tournament featuring retired legends from multiple countries, WCL needed a compelling, modern visual identity that could match the scale and prestige of its name.
The tournament aimed to revive nostalgia while appealing to a new generation of fans and sponsors. The brand needed to feel global, exciting, and premium—and perform consistently across stadium branding, broadcast, and digital platforms.

- Applied strong use of bold typography, national color cues, and metallic accents to enhance the tournament’s prestige
- Ensured brand scalability across multiple applications—from LED screens and field branding to team cards and merchandise
Ground Branding
- Designed stadium perimeter hoardings, press backdrops, sponsor boards, and in-game branding elements
- Maintained strong visual clarity and sponsorship visibility, even during fast-paced live coverage
- Created assets to support broadcast overlays and in-stadium promotions, ensuring brand harmony on and off screen
Social Media Content
- Designed match-day graphics, team lineup posts, video cover frames, and story templates
- Developed a cohesive digital theme with adaptable components for Instagram and other platforms
- Ensured brand consistency across dynamic content, even during live tournament days
The Results
WCL’s bold branding elevated its profile among both traditional cricket fans and global sponsors. The visually unified presence across stadiums, screens, and social media helped position WCL as a serious player in global cricket entertainment. The ground branding offered photo-ready visuals for every angle of coverage, and the social designs contributed to strong fan engagement during the tournament.
