The Problem

As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, Bank Alfalah sought to engage youth through a school-level cricket program—aimed at promoting healthy competition, sportsmanship, and talent development across Pakistan. The branding challenge: to create a dynamic, youth-friendly logo that balances the spirit of cricket with the credibility of a major financial institution.

The identity needed to speak to both school-age players and official stakeholders—inspiring excitement while maintaining brand alignment with Bank Alfalah’s core identity.

The Solution

I developed a logo that strikes a bold balance between energy and trust. Key design decisions included:

• A dynamic cricket ball silhouette in action, symbolizing movement, ambition, and youthful drive

• A shield-shaped structure to reflect sportsmanship, strength, and institutional legitimacy

• Use of Bank Alfalah’s signature red—reimagined with gradients and contrast for a more energetic, sporty tone

• Sharp typography and clean angles to keep the mark modern, sharp, and scalable across merch, kits, and digital assets

The design was crafted to be instantly recognizable, adaptable for team uniforms, certificates, event signage, and social media promotion.

The Results

The concept stands as a versatile, future-ready sports logo—perfect for a youth cricket program with national reach. It positions Bank Alfalah not just as a sponsor, but as an enabler of youth empowerment through sport. The logo received positive feedback for being both action-oriented and brand consistent, ready to unify players, schools, and communities under one bold emblem.
